The Big Test of GDPR

GDPR came into full force on 25 May 2018. Right after that, Max Schrems filed the first cases under GDPR against Facebook and Google. The €3.9 billion lawsuits accused the companies of “coercing” users into accepting their data collection policies. These lawsuits became test cases to see how regulators interpret the GDPR. Also, how well they went against the technology giants.
